It was with great pleasure that our Law Firm sponsored and participated in the 1st Cyprus Arbitration Day that was held between the 21st and 22nd of May 2023. The CAD 2023 was organized and hosted by the Cyprus Arbitration Forum (CAF), attracting more than 20 speakers and 160 participants from jurisdictions all over the world.
Our Managing Partner, Mr. Soteris Pittas, was among the members of the Organizing Committee and a speaker to this event, participating as a panellist on the third session focusing on “Interim Measures and Enforcement” in arbitration, in which he provided an outline of the types of interim relief measures available in Cyprus in aid of foreign proceedings and in aid of the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards.
We wish to congratulate all the speakers and especially the co-chairs Agis Georgiades and Stavros Pavlou, as well as everyone involved in the organization of, what turned out to be, such a successful event, bringing together experts and professionals in the field of arbitration, whose collective vision will aid in advancing the arbitration scene in Cyprus.
